Remittance cost comparer
Compare two ways of sending money abroad: see how much arrives and the real cost of each, fees and exchange-rate markup included.
Not financial advice. Results are estimates for planning only; check real figures with your bank or provider.
How it works
- We assume the fee is paid on top, so the full amount you send is converted. If a provider takes the fee out of the amount, enter the amount after the fee and add the fee in the fee box.
- Real cost = the fee + the exchange-rate markup. The markup is the value lost because the rate offered is lower than the mid-market rate.
- Use the rate and fee the provider shows you on the same day, for the same amount and delivery method. Rates change during the day.
